Meet Your Guide

My name is Lyndon Parker, a mother of three and a former special education teacher with diverse experience across many settings and districts. My passion lies in supporting children with exceptional needs and understanding each child individually. With Bright Path, my focus is to help families navigate the special education process with clarity, confidence, and collaborative strategies. Every child deserves access to the services and supports that will help them succeed.

Empowering you every step of the way

The most important thing I want families to know is that my support is collaborative, practical, and empowering. I guide parents step by step through the special education process, provide clear strategies, and help them confidently participate in meetings and decisions — all while keeping the focus on the child’s unique needs. I also work to restore trust and build confident, productive relationships with school team members, so every IEP meeting becomes a space for collaboration rather than conflict. Families never navigate this process alone; they have a knowledgeable guide at their side to ensure every plan is meaningful, implemented effectively, and supported by strong partnerships with the school.

Confidence for your child's future

After working with Bright Path Special Education Advocacy and IEP Support Services, we want families to feel confident, informed, and truly empowered. Our goal is for parents to leave with a clear understanding of their child’s needs, actionable strategies, and the ability to advocate effectively in any situation. Ultimately, we strive for families to achieve peace of mind, build stronger relationships with their school team, and have IEPs that genuinely support their child’s growth and success.

A personal commitment to your child's success

Beyond my passion, my combined experience as a mother of three and former special education teacher across multiple districts and settings provides me with a deep understanding of the challenges families face. I’ve seen firsthand how confusing the process can be, how easily a child’s needs can be overlooked, and the immense difference thoughtful guidance and advocacy can make. This blend of professional insight and personal experience makes supporting families incredibly meaningful – I know what it’s like to want the absolute best for your child and to need someone in your corner who truly understands.
